There have been several documented cases leading up to the election of voter suppression through phonecalls from outside the state. Common Cause worked actively to counter-act this problem through a robo-call program featuring Danny Glover providing anti-intimidation information to voters.

Some of the first possible indications that pre-election voter suppression may be having a noticable impact come from Allentown, where in the 12^th precinct, 4^th ward, Allentown Park Youth League Assoc., 1519 Oxford Dr., voter turnout — in contrast to very high turnout across the state — is appreciably down from usual levels. PA VOICE partners will be targeting this precinct for active GOTV calling during the day today to provide voters with nonpartisan anti-intimidation information and voter assistance.
